Hi, I’m Károly Szatmári, a curious and open-minded person with a deep passion for photography, storytelling, cooking — and of course, wine. By day I work a regular job, but my free time is filled with creativity: I capture moments, experiment with video, and explore new flavors in the kitchen. Cooking is a way for me to express myself and bring joy to others — and through it, I’ve also developed a strong love for good wine.
I created this website to give voice to Hungarian wines, especially from smaller, often overlooked winemakers, and to share their stories with a wider audience. This is my personal mission: to celebrate the culture, people, and regions behind each bottle. I’m still learning German, so some translations might not be perfect yet — thank you for your patience, and I’d love to hear what you think of the site!
